Day 5:
# 5 Leadership Letter - MEMORIES as NO 5 of 5 basic elements

Did you know that memories are stored in your vitality system, also the bad memories?

Why is this important?

This is important because we have limited time and energy - we want a personal experience of ease and joy at work and in life.

Memories are interpretations and understandings of a situation in the past that we stored and took with us.

When memories make us sad, it is helpful to get rid of the bad feeling so that it does not remain as bugs in our vitality system and affect our ability to create the future we want.

Get rid of what you do not need from the past to create the future!

What situations in your history do you have with you that strengthen – or - hold you back from creating the future you want.

You can choose to focus on what you learned from these situations and how they have strengthened you for the future. This way you can choose to turn a bad situation into something that rather strengthens you.

What situations do you need to turn into something more positive?

People who were involved in a situation you remember as bad in history can hold you back from creating the future you want. They have been part of the overall experience that you remember as negative, which creates bad feelings in you about those people.

It is to your advantage to explore if there are any such people in your life and reflect on what role and place you allow them to have in your life today, through how they affect your thoughts and feelings.

It is important to understand that the memories we possess are transformed into a form of thought. They will also affect how we act when we get into similar situations as we have been in. It happens by the memories of the situations being stored in our energy system and becoming a reference that unconsciously becomes a point of reference that affects how we act. Memories are stored based on how we perceived the situation. It becomes our reality. The important thing in this context, however, is that our truth forms a point of reference for ourselves, whether memory thus strengthens us or inhibits us from achieving what we want.

You can integrate a new truth so that you unconsciously think differently about what you have experienced. A way to transform bad experiences and memories into something that can potentially strengthen you and what you want to achieve in the future.

Time to reflect and integrate new insight

  • Can you benefit from adjusting your thoughts/memories about past experiences and people involved in this experiences?
  • Look at main career and life events – what memories can potential disempowering you? What did you learn from them? How do you choose to act in a similar situation that might show up in the future?
